1. Introduction
Welcome to AIspire (“Product” or “AIspire”), a tool designed to assist with scientific research reading and writing.
This Terms of Service (“Agreement”) is entered into between you and the operator of AIspire (“Company,” “we,” or “us”). It governs your use of the Product. Please read this Agreement carefully before using AIspire. If you do not agree to any part of this Agreement, please do not use the Product. Your registration, login, or use of the Product indicates your full understanding and acceptance of this Agreement.
2. Definitions
2.1 User: Any natural person or legal entity who registers for or uses the Product services.
2.2 Services: All functions provided by the Product, including scientific research assistance, document organization, intelligent summarization, academic resource retrieval, and related features.
2.3 Account: The unique identifier assigned to a user upon registration on the Product platform.
2.4 Content: All text, images, data, and other information uploaded, entered, generated, or stored by the user within the Product.
3. Service Content
3.1 The Product primarily provides services such as literature search, intelligent summarization, document organization, data analysis, and writing assistance to improve research efficiency.
3.2 The Product may analyze and process user-uploaded or input content using AI models to offer personalized suggestions and services.
3.3 The specific features and presentation of the Services are subject to the latest version released on the Product platform. The Company reserves the right to modify or update the Services at any time.
4. User Eligibility and Registration
4.1 You must have full legal capacity and agree to provide true, accurate registration information as required by this Agreement.
4.2 If you log in through a third-party account, you agree that the Product may obtain relevant third-party account information for identity verification.
4.3 You are responsible for keeping your account and password confidential. Please notify the Company immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. Service Usage Rules
5.1 You shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations as well as this Agreement when using the Product, and shall not use it for any illegal, infringing, or unauthorized purposes.
5.2 You must ensure that any content you upload or input does not violate laws, infringe upon others’ intellectual property or privacy rights. You shall bear all legal responsibilities arising from such content.
5.3 The Company reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Services upon detection of any violation, without prior notice.
6. User Data and Intellectual Property
6.1 The intellectual property rights of content uploaded or generated by users belong to the users. However, to provide Services, the Company is authorized to store, process, display, analyze, and utilize such content for product improvement.
6.2 Private content uploaded by you (specifically content in your Knowledge Base module, excluding content from the Inspiration Discovery module) will only be used to optimize your personal experience and will not be used to serve other users.
6.3 You agree to grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable license to use certain content generated during your use of the Service. The Company does not claim ownership of your original data.
6.4 The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of AI-generated output content, and any related risks shall be borne by the user.
7. User Content Publication
7.1 Users shall not use AIspire or related new technologies such as deep learning, virtual reality, or generative AI to create, upload, copy, transmit, or disseminate prohibited content such as false news, or misrepresent AI-generated content as natural content. Users must clearly label non-factual AI-generated content; otherwise, AIspire has the right to mark, restrict, or ban related content and accounts.
7.2 AIspire clearly labels AI-generated content as probabilistic outputs from AI models. Users shall not remove, alter, or conceal these labels by technical means.
7.3 AI-generated content is probabilistic and not guaranteed to be accurate. Users must verify facts, especially numerical, temporal, and factual descriptions.
8. Privacy Protection
Please refer to the [AIspire Privacy Policy] to understand how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. Your use of the Product constitutes consent to the data processing described therein.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
9.1 The Product is provided “as is” based on current technology and conditions and may contain defects or interruptions. The Company makes no express or implied warranties.
9.2 To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any direct or indirect losses resulting from the use of the Product, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or financial loss.
9.3 You are responsible for your own actions, and any losses caused by improper use or violation of this Agreement shall be borne by you.
10. Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination
10.1 The Company may upgrade, modify, suspend, or terminate the Product services as needed, with prior notice on the platform.
10.2 The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure or unforeseeable events but will make reasonable efforts to restore the services.
10.3 The Company may immediately terminate services and pursue legal actions if you violate this Agreement or applicable laws.
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.
11.2 Disputes arising from this Agreement shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may bring a lawsuit to the court with jurisdiction over the Company’s location.
12. Miscellaneous
12.1 This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the use of the Product. Any modifications or supplements must be made in writing.
12.2 The Company reserves the right to amend this Agreement as necessary. The amended Agreement will be published on the Product platform. Continued use of the Product constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
12.3 If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective.
